Remember the Odyssey ship SG-1 team protecting the Earth from alien attacks and fighting them back? Yes you have guessed it right I am talking about Stargate SG-1 series. Stargate SG-1 would have brought several things to your mind like Stargate devices which used to connect planets of not only milky way galaxy but also planets in other galaxy. The characters used to travel easily from one planet to another and fight aliens like Ori, Goa’uld.

It was worth watching these exciting science fiction episodes. Though it was not much liked by the critics but it gave high ratings due to which the Stargate SG-1 series ran for a long period of 10 years, completing 10 seasons. It was loved by its viewers and won several awards consisting of Emmy and Golden Globe awards also.

But as all things come to an end the series also came to an end. I can still remember the Stargate SG-1 Season 10 finale episode titled “Unending” which was aired on 13^th March 2007. In this episode we saw members of Asguard race commiting suicide and passing on their knowledge to SG-1 team and Odyssey crew members. And in order to escape from Ori’s attack for time being Samantha Carter activates time dilation field. After 50 years the team finds the way to defend from Ori. This episode was very interesting and full of action.

After the end of the show cast of Stargate SG-1 moved to new projects. At present Richard Dean Anderson, who played Jonathan “Jack” O’ Neill in Stargate SG-1 episodes, can be seen in guest star role in “Fairly Legal” as David Smith.

Fans of Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson of Stargate SG-1 series) can catch him in “Faces in the Crowd” as Bryce and in “Red Riding Hood” as Adrien Lazar. He has also done a guest star role in “Endgame”.
